The fire assay furnace is an important equipment used for analyzing the composition of ore samples containing precious metals. It is mainly used for melting ore samples crushed in refractory clay crucibles and mixing fluxes, such as powdered lead oxide. This process separates precious metals (such as gold, silver, etc.) from other materials in the sample, facilitating subsequent analysis and extraction
. The fire testing furnace is suitable for experiments and production in fields such as electronics, ceramics, metallurgy, glass, and new material development. Its features include an independent furnace, which is easy to maintain and replace, and is suitable for experiments and production in multiple fields.
The operation process of pyrometallurgical gold testing mainly includes three stages: first, smelting, that is, using flux to melt ore and metallurgical products; Secondly, ash blowing is used to remove lead and other base metal materials from lead alloys by controlling the temperature; Finally, there is a "flash" phenomenon in the composite, indicating that the precious metal has separated from the base metal. During the entire process, it should be noted that after the "lead buckle" is fully melted and lit at 900 ℃, the ash blowing should be controlled at around 860 ℃. After about 1 hour of ash blowing, the ash dish should be immediately moved to the furnace door, left for a moment, and then taken out and cooled to room temperature.
In addition, the fire method gold testing furnace has a high degree of automation and simple operation. The appearance of the gold and silver alloy particles formed after ash blowing is uniform, round and full, with smooth spherical surfaces and strong metal texture, which is much better than the gold and silver alloy particles obtained after ordinary high-temperature muffle furnace ash blowing. This type of furnace is not only suitable for various fields, but also has a large furnace volume, which can meet the needs of experiments and production of different scales.
